September Update by Robin

My name is Robin Christensen.

I’m an Associate Broker and the newest team member at Stephanie Reed Real Estate. I’ve known Stephanie for nearly 20 years, and our friendship and professional relationship have always been built on mutual respect and admiration. Together, our team—Stephanie, Braigen, Matt, and myself—brings over 70 years of combined experience. Somehow, I’m the only one who’s old! I’m genuinely excited to be part of this dynamic group and look forward to the opportunities ahead.

A little about me:

I moved to the beautiful Sun Valley area in 1993 and have been a licensed professional since 2003. Over the years, I’ve built my career on the principles of great service, honesty, integrity, and continuous education—values that are essential to me, not just buzzwords.

I’ve been honored as a finalist for Woman of the Year twice and nominated three times. I’ve served as President and board member of the Sun Valley Board of Realtors and contributed to the Idaho Realtors Communications Committee, reflecting my commitment to both my profession and community.

I’m deeply community-minded and service-oriented. I volunteer at Swiftsure Ranch and support organizations such as the Word of Honor Fund, Dress for Success, and various local charities. For more than a decade, I directed the Holiday Baskets program and produced the Winter Wonderland event—both labors of love that reflect my passion for giving back.

For nearly 30 years, I’ve also competed in AKC Retriever Field Trials with my Labrador Retrievers—dogs are my passion! These days, I own Jack Russell Terriers and enjoy the fun chaos of competing with Fuller and Missy in Dog Trials. My love for animals has been a constant joy in my life.

My approach to helping sellers:

What sets me apart is my commitment to personalized service that goes beyond staging. When working with sellers, I spend time helping with styling—not just how the home looks on the surface, but also preparing for the move. I offer suggestions for decluttering, repainting, repairing, cleaning, and enhancing curb appeal to ensure each home presents at its best.

For vacant properties, I make regular checks to maintain their appearance and keep them inviting. I also encourage sellers to pack one or two boxes each night and store them in the garage. This simple practice helps reduce last-minute chaos at closing while simultaneously decluttering the home.

I believe in showcasing homes in their best light, so I often recommend plenty of natural light and fresh flowers to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. These small touches can make a big difference in how buyers experience a space.

My ultimate goal is to make the selling process as smooth, stress-free, and successful as possible—providing customized advice and a dedicated, hands-on approach every step of the way.
