The Week in Real Estate

The market hums steadily along as we near the end of the year. Keep in mind that Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday, and the middle-of-the-week holiday will likely impact real estate activity a bit.

Winter weather arrived in full force over the weekend. Skiers and snowboarders (and snowshoers and snowmobilers and Nordic skiers and backcountry enthusiasts etc etc) made the most of the storms, which delivered over 15″ of snow to most of the valley. The Winter Solstice, which marks the shortest day of the year and the official start of winter, is this Saturday at 2:20 AM, according to timeanddate.com. Sounds like a perfect opportunity to celebrate lengthening days!
